Baja Grill is owned and operated by Keith Klemowits and Drew Konop, both from Pewaukee, WI.  

Baja joins their original venture - Karma Bar & Grill, www.karmamilwaukee.com - an upscale sports bar and lounge in downtown Milwaukee.  With its focus on quality ingredients, unique drinks and excellent service, Karma has become known for serving  gourmet pub food, mixing unique cocktails and providing a surprisingly unique atmosphere for watching most any game.

Keith and Drew wanted to bring those same qualities to their home in Lake Country.  Extensive renovation has been done to the former Kahuna's restaurant by one of Milwaukee's top design firms.  Baja was conceived to resemble any beach town shanty or surfer village hide-a-way you may find while traveling up the Baja Pennisula into Southern California.  Weathered wood, tin roofs and a unique color palate were selected to make Baja look like the proprietors build it from old boats and driftwood found on the beach.  It is truly a beach town escape during any season!

DRINK

INFUSIONS - Baja Grill infuses tequila, rum and vodka to make unique cocktails only found here.   If you like the sound of a Cucumber Mojito, Red Grapefruit Margarita, Gazpacho Bloody Mary or Tangerine Margarita - look no further!

WINE - We offer several reasonably priced red and white wines by the glass or bottle.  Join us Thursdays for half price bottles.

BEER - On tap or in a bottle, we carry many beers found around the Caribbean and some found across the pond (although Guinness happens to be brewed in Jamaica).  There are also several microbrews offered on tap, including Fat Tire, Spotted Cow, Lakefront seasonals products and Sprecher Amber.

Eat

Baja Grill is happy to serve classic Mexican dishes including burritos, enchiladas, fajitas and tacos.  But we don't stop there - we brought our top rated burgers from our sister location, Karma Bar & Grill.  Our 'Karma Burger' (kobe beef, bbq sauce, cheese and jalepenos) and Baja Burger are a perfect cantina meal during the game.

If you are looking for something more filling, we offer several entrees from Mahi Mahi, Jamaican Jerk Rubbed Pork Chop, Seafood Enchiladas, BBQ Baby Back Ribs and other specials from our three star reviewed chef, Adam "Flaco" Brousil.
